Haven Home ClimateCare is a family owned and operated business, working locally in Kingston, Ontario. Owner/Operator Bob McMullen has been in the heating and cooling business since 1972, when he took his apprenticeship in the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at George Brown College in Toronto. That amounts to over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry – heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Bob has been an HVAC contractor since 1988, and has owned and operated Haven Home ClimateCare since the early ’90s. Haven Home is now celebrating its 20th anniversary in its location at 2495 Princess Street at Gardiners Road, Kingston.
“Making your home a Haven,” is Haven Home’s motto and the company helps all its customers do just that. “We take care of all your heating needs and all your cooling needs, from fireplaces and air conditioning to heat pumps and in-floor radiant heating and more. If you air’s dirty, we’ll clean it; if your air is dry we will humidify it; if you are too cool we will heat you up and if you are too hot we will cool you down, we do it all.”
Haven Home is a member of ClimateCare, a province-wide co-op of independent contractors who believe in delivering top-notch customer service through certified and competitive technicians and staff. Only independent heating and air conditioning contractors can be members of ClimateCare.
“We adhere to tough industry standards and pool our knowledge and resources to bring in business and service trainers to continually improve our level of customer care and satisfaction,”
Thanks to its adherence to high standards, Haven Home ClimateCare was the first Ontario contractor to be TSSA (Technical Standards Safety Association) certified, through a complete quality assessment program that regularly inspects operators for workmanship, safety, knowledge and customer service. Haven Home exceeds provincial standards in each area.
Haven Home ClimateCare is now truly locally family owned and operated business. Bob’s daughter Marci joined the Company in the Fall of 2005 and is now the General Manager. Her Husband André has also joined the team in early 2008 and is looking after Operations.
